Energy feedback unit

Energy feedback device suppliers remind you that with the development of society, energy shortages are becoming increasingly severe. In order to alleviate energy problems and achieve sustainable development strategies, energy-saving projects for motor systems have been listed as one of the top ten key energy-saving projects of concern by the National Development and Reform Commission. At present, in industrial variable frequency electrical transmission systems, due to the superior motor control performance of frequency converters, they have gradually become the standard configuration of many industrial equipment, bringing considerable economic benefits to enterprises and users, and the market space is huge. Although the speed regulation method of frequency converter has better energy-saving effect than other speed regulation methods, the speed regulation system inevitably generates electrical energy during the motor braking process. Traditional frequency converters do not have the ability to utilize this regenerated electrical energy, but consume it through braking resistors, wasting this part of energy. The energy feedback unit of the frequency converter can effectively utilize this regenerated electrical energy, making the speed control system more energy-efficient.

The energy feedback unit is a type of braking unit specifically designed for frequency converters, mainly used in high inertia and drag variable frequency speed control systems. It helps the motor to feedback the regenerated electrical energy generated during its deceleration process to the power grid, while also assisting the system in achieving rapid braking function.

In the variable frequency speed regulation system, when the load of the motor is a potential energy load, such as oil field pumping units, mining hoists, etc; Or large inertia loads such as fans, cement pipes, dynamic balancing machines, etc; When fast braking loads are required for steel mills, large gantry planers, machine tool spindles, etc., the motor inevitably undergoes a power generation process. That is, the motor rotor is dragged by external forces or the load's own moment of inertia is maintained, causing the actual speed of the motor to be greater than the synchronous speed output by the frequency converter. The electrical energy generated by the motor will be stored in the DC bus filtering capacitor of the frequency converter. If this energy is not consumed, the DC bus voltage will quickly rise, affecting the normal operation of the frequency converter.

The energy feedback unit automatically detects the DC bus voltage of the frequency converter, inverts the DC voltage of the DC link of the frequency converter into an AC voltage with the same frequency and phase as the grid voltage, and connects it to the AC grid after multiple noise filtering links, thereby achieving the purpose of energy feedback to the grid. It can completely replace resistance braking, reduce installation space by more than 60%, remove heating components, and achieve a comprehensive energy-saving rate of up to 20%~60%. It fully outputs sine waves and feeds back clean electrical energy, with an energy conversion efficiency of over 97.5%. At the same time, it can greatly improve the temperature of industrial control sites and reduce the failure rate caused by high temperatures.
