Elevator energy-saving equipment suppliers remind you that the main energy consumption of elevators is transmitted from the power grid to the electric motor through rectifiers, bus capacitors, inverters, etc. In theory, elevators spend half of their time generating electricity, wasting almost 40% of the total energy. How to recycle and utilize this energy has become the preferred direction for elevator energy conservation.
When the electric motor is in a generating state (i.e. when the elevator is running up and down in an unbalanced manner or decelerating to the station), energy will accumulate on the bus capacitor, generating pump voltage. If this energy is not consumed in time, overvoltage faults will occur, which will threaten the safety of the elevator control system.
Currently, the elevators used in the market (excluding imported high-speed elevators, which account for about 2% of the total) handle this energy by adding braking units and braking resistors, and wasting this electrical energy on the resistors as heat energy.
If the elevator brakes frequently or frequently in an unbalanced state, it will not only cause serious energy waste, but also lead to resistance heating, causing the ambient temperature to rise.
Due to the special nature of elevators, the heat generated through resistors is very high, and the local temperature of the resistors is usually above 100 ℃. In order to lower the temperature of the machine room to room temperature and prevent elevators from malfunctioning due to high temperatures; Users need to install air conditioners or fans with high exhaust volume; In machine rooms with high elevator power, it is often necessary to use air conditioning and fans simultaneously, or to start multiple air conditioning and fans simultaneously. This not only causes serious energy waste in elevators, but also increases the power consumption of cooling equipment.
Principles and directions for energy-saving renovation of elevators
The focus of the renovation should be to ensure safety, comfort, and efficient operation while reducing power consumption. The principle of transformation is:
1. Not changing the effect of use, that is, not affecting the normal operation of the elevator;
2. Electricity will not be wasted and can be reused;
3. The room temperature drops, and in summer, the air conditioning can be turned off, or at least the temperature doesn't have to be too low;
4. The renovated system should be easy to use and maintain.
The elevator energy feedback device is a high-performance feedback braking unit specifically designed for elevators. It can effectively convert the regenerated electrical energy stored in the elevator frequency converter capacitor into AC power and send it back to the power grid, turning the elevator into a green "power plant" to supply power to other equipment. It has the function of saving electricity, with a comprehensive energy-saving efficiency of 20-50% and a regenerated electrical energy recovery efficiency of up to 97.5%. In addition, by replacing resistors for energy consumption, the ambient temperature in the machine room is reduced, and the operating temperature of the elevator control system is improved, extending the service life of the elevator. The machine room does not require the use of cooling equipment such as air conditioning, indirectly saving electricity.
