The difference between rectification feedback products and ordinary feedback products

The rectification feedback product, commonly known as AFE (Active Front End), uses IGBT power components, so its hardware circuit is similar to an inverter. The difference is that its input is AC and its output is DC. Because it is located on the power supply input side, it is called the front end. It has two functions: rectification and feedback. The rectification feedback unit can timely and efficiently feedback the kinetic or potential energy converted from production machinery to the power grid, effectively saving electricity; Whether in rectification or feedback state, the measured voltage waveform of the rectification feedback unit is a sine wave waveform with minimal harmonic content, and the power factor is close to 1, basically eliminating the harmonic interference of the frequency converter on the power grid and truly achieving environmentally friendly electricity use. And it is less affected by voltage fluctuations in the power grid, with excellent dynamic characteristics. Even in extremely unstable power grid conditions, the voltage controller can still maintain a constant DC link voltage. But if AFE is used in conjunction with a frequency converter, the rectification part of the original frequency converter cannot work, and AFE replaces the original rectification part. Our company produces PFA rectifier feedback units, which have reliable performance and significant energy-saving effects.

Ordinary feedback products usually refer to parallel feedback devices that use advanced IGBT devices and phase amplitude control PWM algorithms to improve the deceleration and braking capabilities of frequency converters. At the same time, the energy generated by the motor during the braking process and input into the frequency converter is fed back to the power grid, thereby meeting the effective braking requirements of the frequency converter and recycling more than 97% of the regenerated electrical energy. Feedback products such as PF series, PFE series, PFH series, and PSG series are all parallel feedback. The ordinary feedback device and the rectifier part of the original frequency converter are used in parallel, with low cost and stable and reliable operation.
