Operating principle of elevator emergency device

During the use of elevators, they often encounter soft faults (non elevator safety circuits, door lock circuits) or power supply system failures (phase loss, power outage, fire alarm). Once this situation is encountered, it can cause passengers trapped in the car to feel nervous, fearful, and irritable, and even pose a serious threat to their lives and property safety. 1、 Detecting power supply voltage

When the external power grid is supplying power normally, the power detection circuit of the emergency device gives a normal signal for the AC input power supply. The battery pack of the device is automatically float charged through the charging circuit to maintain the rated working voltage.

2、 Emergency response to sudden situations

When an emergency situation occurs in the elevator, the control system of the elevator emergency device will automatically activate emergency rescue. Cut off the power supply from the external power grid as soon as possible and perform electrical interlocking. Simultaneously detecting the safety and maintenance of elevators and circuits, the door area sensor provides power to detect nearby leveling information, and if normal, the car door and hall door will be opened simultaneously; If the level information cannot be detected, the DC converter will supply power to the brake circuit. After ensuring that the elevator doors and hall doors are opened and passenger safety is guaranteed, all contacts and connections on the emergency device will return to standby mode.

 

3、 Safe locking

If the signals from the elevator safety circuit and door lock circuit are both safe, the emergency operation of the elevator emergency device will be immediately terminated to ensure the safety and reliability of passengers and elevator equipment. The elevator emergency device has also been monitoring the maintenance circuit of the elevator control system. When maintenance personnel are inspecting the elevator, as long as the maintenance switch is pressed, the device will automatically lock and not be put into emergency operation.

 

4、 Emergency mission ends and returns

After the emergency operation is completed, the emergency device of the elevator is in an isolated and standby state, which has no impact on the normal operation of the elevator. When the three-phase AC power supply is restored, the charging circuit of the emergency device will automatically return the battery pack to the isolated standby charging mode.
